This article discusses how to fix the issue of a missing Import Data button in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales CRM.
As illustrated in the graphic below, the Import Data button has gone missing, even when the user profile is given proper access to import data.
Go to Settings -> Security->Security Roles and pick the associated user role.
Under the Core Records tab, make sure Delete permission is set as shown below for Data Import . Then save the profile, logoff, close all browsers and login again to Dynamics 365. The Data Import button will be visible.
